2024 Ford Bronco Sport Trim Levels
The Ford Bronco Sport is an excellent option for drivers looking for a compact crossover with off-roading abilities. It's just as at home on the daily commute as it is on a trail to your favorite campsite. With a fuel-efficient engine, extensive infotainment tech, and comfortable seating for five people, the Bronco Sport has a lot to offer. You can configure this vehicle to your liking by choosing from several trims. Our Ford experts in Albuquerque have taken a closer look at the 2024 Bronco Sport's trim levels to give you an idea of what's on offer.
Bronco Sport Overview
The Bronco Sport fits into the compact crossover class. It offers adult-friendly seating in both rows and a solid amount of cargo space at the rear. There's about 30 cubic feet of storage behind the second row, more than enough to fit luggage for a short vacation. Under the hood, you can choose from a 1.5L turbocharged three-cylinder engine or a more powerful 2.0L four-cylinder unit. The smaller engine is a great choice for fuel economy, managing 25 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway. With the larger engine, these numbers drop to 21 mpg and 26 mpg respectively.
The interior materials, touchscreen size, and available upgrades depend on which trim you choose. The five trim options are Big Bend, Heritage, Three Wheeling, outer Banks, and Badlands.
Bronco Sport Big Bend
The Big Bend has an MSRP of around $31,000 and features cloth upholstery in the cabin. The infotainment system includes an 8-inch touchscreen and a six-speaker stereo for your music. You can control basic functions with voice recognition, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road while you select your chosen radio station or podcast. Connectivity options on offer are Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, blueTooth, and USB ports. Standard proximity keyless entry and push-button start make it easy to get on the move.
Even though this is the base trim, Ford equips the Big Bend with numerous safety features. These include automatic high-beam headlights, forward collision, and automatic emergency braking. You can also take advantage of lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. For an extra $895, you can add stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and lane centering assist. Known as Ford Co-Pilot365 Assist, this package also includes evasive steering assist to help you avoid accidents and a navigation system.
Bronco Sport Heritage
The Heritage trim has an MSRP of $33,700. It's quite similar to the base trim, but boasts some unique rugged styling inside and out, and all-terrain tires. You can opt for the same Co-Pilot365 Assist upgrade package. Another upgrade package that's available in both the Big Bend and Heritage trims is the Convenience package. It features a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless device charging to keep your phone fully loaded, and heated front seats. You can also add a moonroof.
2024 Bronco Sport Three Wheeling
The Three Wheeling is an all-new trim in the Bronco Sport's 2024 lineup. It costs almost the same as the heritage trim, with a starting price of $33,730. Its inspiration is the 1970s and 1980s, which Ford seeks to replicate inside the cabin and on the exterior. Like the Big Bend and Heritage trims, this trim features cloth upholstery and an infotainment system with the 8-inch touchscreen. Under the hood, all three trims also share the 1.5L three-cylinder engine, which puts out a solid 181 horsepower. All of the upgrade options offered in the first two trims are also offered in the Three Wheeling.
Bronco Sport Outer Banks
If you want a touch more luxury in the cabin, it's probably worth stepping up to the Bronco Sport Outer Banks. It has a starting price of $35,915 and rides on 18-inch aluminium wheels. Inside the cabin, you benefit from dual-zone climate control, allowing you to achieve a comfortable temperature on long and short drives alike.
You also get a 6.5-inch digital gauge cluster so you can monitor your Ford's performance, remote start, and a household power outlet. The multi-colored ambient interior lighting lets you create the atmosphere of your choice in the cabin, from a relaxed, chill-out feel to upbeat vibes. The cabin also profits from a heated steering wheel, memory settings for the driver's seat, a power-adjustable passenger's seat, and premium cloth upholstery. With the Tech package, you get wireless device charging and a high-performance 10-speaker sound system.
Bronco Sport Badlands
The Badlands trim is the one to go for if you plan on regularly taking your Bronco Sport off the beaten track. With an MSRP of $38,390, this trim drops many of the luxury features available in the Outer Banks in favor of sturdy off-roading capabilities. The most obvious change is the addition of the larger 2.0L turbo-four engine, which pumps out 250 horsepower. The added power is great for tackling uneven terrain or hauling a small trailer at the rear.
The Badlands also has all-terrain wheels, skid plates, front tow hooks, and extra power outlets for your equipment. You can add the Premium package to get a more upscale cabin, including leather upholstery, memory settings for the driver's seat, and a heated steering wheel.
The advanced 4WD system is designed with off-roading in mind. It works together with two driving settings that aim to improve performance on trails and other off-roading surfaces, like mud. In addition, the off-roading suspension and all-terrain tires help cope with rough terrain. Front-seat passengers can enjoy their ride with heated front seats .
